the future is looking brighter....

Since Trump has been in office, the tide is changing.   He hired a powerful and righteous team.  They have been deporting thousands of dangerous illegals welcomed in by the Biden administration. According to ICE, this included 88,763 individuals with criminal records, 3,706 gang members, 237 terrorists. Trump has also targeted extremist, Pro-Palestinian protesters for arrest and deportation.

This year is a renewal period reminiscent of post-WWII Germany.  All the Nazi's in power in 1945, in the courts, schools, and parliament, were ousted and replaced.  Jews were hired back in many roles.

Thanks to the Trump admin, Columbia U is required to hire pro-Zionist voices,  as part of the settlement agreed to when President Trump sued Columbia for Title 9 violations.... for harassment, intimidation of Jewish students.

Also this year, Bari Weiss was hired by Paramount who owns CBS.  She will protect Israel from the slanders and one-sided biased reporting by CBS News and 60 Minutes.   This is a a major move toward responsible journalism and protecting Jews against media blood libels.

Obama and Biden flooded Minnesota with Somalis, which resulted in anti-Semitic extremist Omar Ilan getting elected to Congress.  Now these illegals are getting deported back to Somalia.

There has been a shift worldwide, as well.  Some European countries are deporting Muslim dissidents, and declaring Burquas and pro-Palestinian protests illegal.  "From the river the the sea" has been recognized as a call for genocide of the Jews.  Sweden's Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch , Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, are taking steps to protect their citizens.

While the world was silent on the ISIS slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, President Trump made a loud statement.  He bombed the ISIS outposts on Christmas Day 2025.

The Jewish people have friends in the White House and around the world.

On a personal note, I am looking forward to having a grandson, expected in January 2026.

How to connect the past to the present, without facts that some find offensive...

WELCOME PRESIDENT TRUMP

January 20th, 2024 was a very special day and the beginning of a bright future for this country, Israel and the world as a whole. Donald Trump sworn in, reversing 4 years of damage caused by Joe Biden and the leftist Democrats.  I am so relieved and thankful to have a true friend of the Jewish people and Jewish State of Israel, back in the white house.   He even worked to negotiate a deal to release the hostages, before his inauguration.  Within minutes of his return to the oval office, he signed several executive orders demonstrating his commitment to fight Anti-semitism, especially on college campuses.

HOW TO CONNECT THE PAST TO THE PRESENT without OFFENDING

Last week I was invited to speak at a local high school as part of the Keep the Stories Alive program of the North Jersey Jewish Federation.  After telling my parents story of surviving the Holocaust, I ended with a message to tie the past to the present.

These 2 slides, below, show that history repeats itself.  The slide on the right compares the 1938 Nazi blockade with the 2024 Pro-Hamas college campus rallies, preventing Jewish students from attending classes.
NOTE: One of Trump's executive orders will help combat these riots by deporting those involved in these terrorist activities.

The next day, I was informed that some of the students were offended by my tie-in to Oct 7th.  Truth is offensive when you are taught to believe falsehoods.

If I don't make the connection to what has happened on Oct. 7th, then my speech is strictly entertainment.    The students I presented to were all high school History, Genocide Studies and AP History students.  Aren't they taught about current events?  Don't they understand the meaning of genocide.    Don't they know right from wrong?   My colleague expressed it nicely "How is showing that there are parallels between the 1930s in Germany and what is happening in America today offensive". I ask why is it ok for college professors to tell lies and slander the Jewish State of Israel, but when I try to tell the truth I am forbidden.

I also talked about how the biased media caused me to become irate. I gave the example of when the CBS reporter equated the 2-sides the day after Israel began its retaliation. She stated "heavy casualties on both sides"!   I wanted to shout, NO!  one side was a slaughter of innocent civilians, on the other side casualties of war (in Gaza 80% of casualties were terrorists!)

How do you present the truth without offending the ignorant and uninformed?
